Expo Fly Tying Demos offer the Best in the Fly Tying World Fly tying demonstrations are at the core of any fly-fishing show, and the Eastern Idaho Fly Tying & Fly-fishing Expo takes these demos to the highest level. No longer a regional show as it was in its first years, the Expo attracts fly tiers from around the USA and on occasion from other countries including Canada, England, Ireland, and Poland. Friday’s schedule features three (3) demonstration sessions and Saturday’s features two (2) demonstration sessions. In each session, you can observe up to forty superb tiers and dressers demonstrating patterns and techniques meant for trout, steelhead, warm water species, salmon, salt water game fish and even carp. Look for ideas on using materials new and old, and look for patterns new and old to be addressed. Below is a list of tiers taking part in the demos of the 2011 Expo. Look for a final schedule with seating assignments to be posted at the Expo registration front desk.

The Expo Committee/Snake River Cutthroats Board of Directors would like to take this time to sincerely thank all of the dedicated flytiers who support the Expo. Without their efforts the Expo would not be possible. It is amazing that so many would travel from so far, from other states and even other countries, at their own expense, to share their talents with others and to help make the Expo what it is,…….the best tier’s show in the country.
