Eighteenth Annual East Idaho Fly Tying & Fishing Banquet!!!
A Celebration of Fly Tying & Fishing
Welcome to the Eighteenth Annual East Idaho Fly Tying/Fly Fishing Expo Banquet. The purpose of the banquet is multiple, starting with an enjoyable dinner and a fun evening. Of course, the primary objective is to raise funds to support the fisheries of eastern Idaho. Thanks to your support, the Cutthroats have contributed over $178,000 raised during the past seven Expos to Trout Unlimited’s South Fork Home Waters program and a variety of other local projects. Several other local conservation partners, including the Friends of the Teton River and the Henry’s Fork Foundation, have also benefited from Expo proceeds. Finally, we will once again support conservation efforts on the Salmon River tributaries with the Salmon National Forest on April 30, 2011, completing our 23rd season of helping both financially and with good old sweat labor.
The Club actively conducts many education programs and classes, including free fly-fishing education programs. We have a strong youth program and added a new Veterans program this year. We need volunteers to help with each of these programs, so if you are interested please contact a Club officer.
Please support our fisheries by purchasing raffle tickets and bidding on auction items. The trout will love you for it and your contributions will bring you good luck on the stream this summer.
